We will look for winter wood-warbler flocks\, Reddish Egrets\, Magnificent Frigatebirds and more. Both Mangrove Cuckoo and White-crowned Pigeon have been recorded at this site during the winter months so we will keep an eye out for them as well. Participants will have the opportunity to earn their Wings Over Florida birding certificate. Wings Over Florida is a free bird and butterfly listing recognition program that rewards people for their Florida life list and big year list achievements. Certificates are awarded to participants when they reach one or multiple listing milestones. Bachman’s Sparrows and Brown-headed Nuthatches are fairly common and Henslow’s Sparrow has been recorded in the winter. Participants will have the opportunity to earn their first Wings Over Florida certificate. \nThe walk is limited to 25 people. This event is FREE and family-friendly.
