Join us for the 2^nd annual Chipola Feather Fest from April 15 through April 18, 2016. Based in Jackson County, Florida, this event features great looks at Red-cockaded Woodpeckers in the Apalachicola National Forest. Got hummers on the brain? Come hear hummingbird expert Fred Bassett speak about his experiences banding hummingbirds in Florida. Venture out into the woods at night listening for Chuck-will’s-widows and contribute to a national citizen-science database for nightjars.
